Texas born Nancy Green received her Master of Music in Voice performance from New England Conservatory in Boston, after having received a Certificate of Advanced Music Studies from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance with a Minor in Piano at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Miss Green brings into her studio more than twenty years of experience performing leading roles on the operatic stages of the United States and Europe.

Her career began in the United States where she sang as a mezzo soprano in numerous operas, oratorios and musicals. Performances included Rossini's Rosina in Barbiere di Seville and Cenerentola, Hansel in Humperdink's Hansel und Gretel, Octavia in Monteverdi's Coronation of Poppea, Siebel in Gounod's Faust, and Polly Peachum in Gay's The Beggar's Opera.

She has since appeared on the stages of Europe singing leading soprano roles, including Leonore in Beethoven's Fidelio, Marietta in Korngold's Die Tote Stadt, Donna Elvira in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Lisa in Tchaikovsky's Pique Dame , Kalman's Grafin Mariza, and Die Csardafürstin, Lehar's Giuditta and The Merry Widow as well as Strauss' s Saffi in Die Ziguener Baron and Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus.

Miss Green began teaching voice in Cambridge through Harvard University and privately twenty years ago. She has also taught in New York City and now has a voice studio in Berlin Mitte.

She has had several inspiring teachers through her training, and is committed to sharing with her students the technical stability that she has been able to rely on throughout her career.

She is experienced working with men and women who are advanced singers as well as with beginners in a broad range of repertoire.

She has been engaged in the theaters of Aachen, Amsterdam, Boston Concert Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, Boston Early Music Festival, Boston Chamber Singers, Braunschweig, Caen, Carnegie Hall, Chattanooga Opera, Opera Gdansk, Houston Opera Theater, Ingolstadt, Long Beach Opera, Los Angelos Opera, Krefeld, Oper Leipzig, Memphis Opera, Merano, L'opera Montpelier, New Jersey Symphony, Nijmegen, Osnabrück, Portland Symphony, Providence Opera, San Antonio, Santa Fe Opera, St. Louis Opera, Tecklenburg, Trier, and Würzburg.
